No, I haven’t dropped off the face of the internet. I’ve just been eyeballs deep in my job, having a great time on holiday in the Loire valley, and in keeping up the schedule on delivering the draft of the second Reinhardt novel (and more on that in a later post)! It’s been a frantically busy couple of months, and I haven’t had as much time for writing as I’d have liked, let alone keeping up with maintaining the website and anything but a token presence on Facebook.
Still, when all’s said and done, I couldn’t be happier. ‘The Man From Berlin’ is doing well, and has gotten some fantastic reviews. Many, many thanks to all of you who have taken the time and contacted me through the website, and through Facebook. I’ve appreciated all the comments, as well as the exchanges with some of you, and (when I can find the time to get to grips with it) the writing is going well for the second Reinhardt novel. Apart from the extra-curricular distractions, it is a more complicated book with, I hope you will all see, a more intricate plot. It’s also the first time I’ve actually been held to a deadline, as the first book took eleven years of its own sweet time to get itself written…
But like I said, more on that later!
